Well, it’s been a while since I posted an update. Last year, I got all the sonotubes installed and the piers installed on them, then I came to a screeching halt. My mother fell on August 13th and fractured her femur in 3 places, had surgery, rehab and rehab several times a week since then. Thank God, she is doing much better and I’m able to get out of the house and know she is safe. So work began again with full steam ahead.

Whenever I could sneak out between now and then I did all my transit work. I checked and rechecked and rechecked again. Just wanted to be sure I didn’t have the wrong numbers before planning and ordering wood.

The wood was delivered on July 15th and I went to town. I built and installed 21 bents and began installing cross braces in about 8 days of work. I have a few pictures below. There will be more updates in the coming weeks.
