Mountain Division – Trestle – 12
We have one abutment finished the other is ready for a pour. My friend David loaned me his forms and told me what to do. I put in the first form which is at the north east of the trestle, did all the prep, mixed and poured 40 – 6- lb. bags of Sakrete High-Strength Concrete Mix. David helped me preparing the forms for the south west abutment a few days before. And I was prepared to pour that one when I noticed a flat on my tractor. It took me a while to get that back in order so threw me off. Today, David came by. We removed the forms, mortared a few imperfections and finished up the first abutment. All is prepared to finish the trestle at that end. Here are a few pictures.

Looks great!
Are you building it yourself?
Yes! My father and I built the first trestle in 5 days. This has taken me a bit longer.
