The abutments are now both complete and attached to the trestle. I have all but 4 railing beams attached. Next week I need to cut 54 ties and attach the remaining railings and it is ready for rail. I also have to build up and grad the gravel to the first abutment that will lead from the first trestle to the new trestle. Once this is done, I’ll design the frogs for the gauntlet on the original trestle and make a visit to my good friend Jim so we can get him to CNC them for me. Then it is to laying track and setting up my signals on the first trestle. here are a few pics.
