I’m getting close to the goal—almost at the switch that will connect to the current main line. Yesterday, I joined 100 feet of rail but ran out of joiners. I should’ve ordered double from the start! Thankfully, a final box is on the way.

Today, I laid another 130 feet of rail. Only about 75 feet left to go! After that, it’ll be time for the ballast party.
